Plein Air on The Yellowstone 2017

I love the challenge and adventure of painting outdoors from time-to-time, even though I'm primarily a studio painter. So, I enjoy participating in the annual Plein Air on The Yellowstone outdoor painting event here in Livingston Montana, hosted by the Livingston Center for Arts and Culture.

This August I decided to stick close-to-home & paint relatively small. I ended up painting inspirations from my own garden as well as our lantern hanging above our front porch.
