Been aWhile

Hello Everybody! What a wild ride we've been on lately, huh? Such a long, strange trip it's been (and even from our own living-rooms).

I'm still painting in oils but not as much. Something nudges to do some writing, and the idea of digital painting whispers too. Seems fitting (as my understanding of the quantum grows along with the burgeoning awareness that we are energy --in temporary physical matter right now) that my creative inspiration is also more in tune with a different type of energy.

Here's something: It's actually more of a Photoshop composite than a digital painting, but it's a start.

And, here's a bit of micro-writing:
Spinning Wheel The spinning wheel of death, as it is called, is forcing me to force-quit. As I poise my index finger over the power button, hovering there like a cat ready to pounce on some imaginary spot on the rug (an invisible sprite?), I pull my finger back a little looking again at the spinning color wheel on my laptop screen, so pretty all those rainbow colors but oh so despicable; frozen in time. I'm hoping hoping that it will stop and I will not have to do it; to force quit. Then suddenly the wheel vanishes. Poof. Gone. But it must've gone somewhere that's the law.

I avert my gaze from the screen to ponder this, cocking my head robotic-like to the right. I reach out my hand. Ahh, ok. There it is. My right index finger (the one not wanting to force-quit) is now a vibrant orange. The other reflected colors sparkle on my palm from the dangling window prism, a ball of red/purple/blue/green/yellow. I have become the spinning color wheel. But I am very much alive. And I have no need to force quit.

OK, that's it for now. Hope things are OK with each of you.

Thanks! -Puci
