day 4: the finished painting
Well, I thought I would use a calm palette of colors, but something happened... Actually the original finished painting was very dark in the forefront. I didn't like it. This one is better. Also, it's more towards twilight, that in-between time mirroring the edge of things such as where the ocean meets the land.

The "oceanic feeling" (as this man might be experiencing), may come to us when we are contemplating the vastness of the ocean, of time & space perhaps even beyond our recognition.

We're going back to San Francisco, Ocean Beach. This Google Maps Google Street View scene is right near the Cliff House, above Sutro Baths.
